About the Position

Job Title

Travel Pharmacy Technician

Location

Panama City, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 26 Weeks | Night Shift | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM | 7 on / 7 off

Key Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding, and hazardous drug compounding in a hospital pharmacy setting
Prepare IV medications, including neonatal and pediatric IV preparations
Utilize pharmacy technology systems including Pyxis MedStation ES, DoseEdge IV Workflow Management, and Meditech documentation system
Support accurate medication dispensing and compounding in compliance with facility protocols and safety standards
Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License required
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
Hospital pharmacy experience required
Experience with neonatal and pediatric IV preparation required
Sterile compounding experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

Familiarity with Pyxis Anesthesia Station ES, BD Pyxis CII Safe, PakEdge, and Codonics systems
Experience with DoseEdge IV Workflow Management and Pharmacy Stars (Compounding 360)
Experience in a NICU or Pediatric ICU pharmacy support environment
