The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience.Essential Functions and AccountabilitiesAssists with coordination of care, management, and treatment of fertility patients.Implements Provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.Provides care for assigned patients by applying appropriate RMA workflows, policies and clinical practice guidelines: Reviews medical records and lab results. Ensures accurate data is entered into the EMR.Communicates test results and patient instructionsProvide patient education throughout all aspects of the treatment journey. Sets appropriate expectations, educates patient/couple on testing, treatment options and RMA processes.Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient care services in the EMRDemonstrates skills and judgment necessary to implement the plan of care. Performs nursing interventions and procedures as necessary to promote the care and safety of the patient.Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comforts patients by anticipating their anxieties, answering questions and addressing concerns.Participates in the education and training of nurses. Mentors peers.
