Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and testing industry, is seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Chemical Laboratory Technician

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Pay Range: $18-$22hr

Shift: 6am- 2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Create monthly lab orders for physical testing and prepare metal specimens for testing.

• Track both physical and analytical tests to ensure timely completion within required time frames.

• Perform a variety of tests including corrosion testing, paint adhesion, impact tests, and elemental analysis.

• Compile detailed test reports outlining procedures and results of internal tests.

• Maintain accurate records, review logs for correctness, and monitor process tank temperatures to ensure compliance with specifications.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in chemical processing laboratories.

• Ability to operate laboratory equipment such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometers and atomic absorption analyzers.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and proper handling of laboratory glassware and chemicals.

• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
